Alyona has a broad civil and commercial litigation practice ranging from contractual disputes to construction litigation, but her primary focus is on strata property law matters. She works with strata corporations, property managers, and individual property owners to guide them through the Civil Resolution Tribunal process and to achieve appropriate solutions for her clients. Prior to joining Cleveland Doan LLP, Alyona articled at a large regional litigation firm in downtown Toronto, Ontario. She has experience representing clients in litigation proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Outside of the office, Alyona spends most of her weekends hiking, boxing at her local gym, or refining her bowling technique. She is an avid traveler with one of her most memorable trips being to Tokyo, Japan. Alyona also serves on the board of directors for the South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce.
Alyona has a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. She spent a semester of law school studying abroad, learning from a wide range of international lawyers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
