Kelly’s practice is centered on governance and bylaw interpretation in the context of strata property law. Whether drafting bylaws and resolutions, conducting legal research, preparing Land Title filings or attending owner meetings, she stays busy supporting both strata corporations and owners.
Outside of the office, Kelly spends her free time with her family and dogs, usually anywhere near the water. She is passionate about supporting marginalized populations and advocating for children’s rights, and she often volunteers her time for these and other causes, and entities such as the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
Prior to joining Cleveland Doan LLP, Kelly obtained her BA from the University of Victoria, majoring in political science with a diploma in French. She then obtained her JD from Bond University in Australia. After interning with Domestic Violence Court in Queensland, she returned to BC for articling and was called to the BC Bar in 2022.
